Cancellations and changes

No-shows
- If you miss your appointment without telling us, your deposit is kept.
- After two missed appointments, future bookings must be paid in full when you book.
Late arrivals
- We keep your appointment for 15 minutes after the start time.
- After that, we will do what we can in the time left so the next client isn't kept waiting. The full price still applies.
Children and guests
- Children are welcome when they have their own appointment, with an adult.
- To keep the salon calm, please come alone unless your guest has an appointment too.
Results and refunds
- Not happy with your result? Tell us within 7 days and we will fix it free of charge.
- Services already performed are not refunded.
Agreement
- By booking with us, you agree to these policies. Thank you for helping us keep the schedule fair for everyone.
How it works
Pick your deposit, cancellation window and what happens after a late cancellation or a no-show. The policy updates as you choose.
The wording is friendly but firm: clear numbers, no legal jargon, and a line for emergencies so good clients never feel punished.
Copy it to your website, your booking confirmation, your Instagram highlights or a sign at the desk. This is a template, not legal advice: check that it fits the consumer rules where you work.
Questions
What is a fair salon cancellation policy?
Most salons ask for 24 to 48 hours' notice, keep the deposit for later cancellations and no-shows, and leave room for real emergencies. Longer services like colour or extensions often justify a longer window.
Can I charge a fee for no-shows?
Yes, if the client agreed to the policy before booking. The easiest way to collect is a deposit taken when they book: you keep it when they don't come.
Where should I show my salon policy?
Everywhere clients book: your website, the booking page, the confirmation message and your social profiles. On BeautiDock, the cancellation window and deposit are shown on every booking.
